School closure extended through 4/30

Hot Springs County School District #1

HSCSD #1 Patrons,

As many may have already heard Governor Gordon has extended the current school closure through April 30th. Our staff has been preparing for an extended closure with our Adapted Learning Plan that has been Wyoming Department of Education approved. The District will continue to make improvements and adjustments as we move forward.

Parents, please check in with your students to make sure they have all they need to complete their work, and if there is anything needed, please email your teacher, or your building principal. Working on assignments and engaging in classes is crucial to maintaining status of school days that do not have to be made up at a later date.

Unfortunately during this time, there are many unanswered questions in regard to graduations, proms, award ceremonies, etc., and the District appreciates your patience as we evaluate the most current information from our medical and state officials. Decisions will be made in conjunction with up to date guidelines and mandates.

Please stay safe and healthy and have a good weekend!

Dustin Hunt
