Mr. Van Heule graduated from Lander Valley High School in 1998. He played football, ran track, and was very involved in the local FFA chapter. As an ag student, he exhibited steers at local jackpots, the Fremont County fair, and the Wyoming State Fair. After High School, he went to Northwest College in Powell and was on the Livestock Judging Team. After that, He went to the University of Wyoming to complete his degree in Agriculture Education. While attending, he was on the Livestock Team and the Wool Evaluation Team, which went on to win the coveted Houston Stock show contest and was second at the National Western. When he received his bachelor's degree in Agricultural Education in 2003, he accepted a position at Hot Springs County High school as the Ag/CTE teacher and FFA advisor. He has had a very rewarding career and has given him many opportunities, including going to national conventions with an FFA team more than once and getting multiple students into a state office. He is married to Jill and has four children Elana, Levi, Kallie, and Erich.
