There is some concern that young children were playing in a bush with berries that could harm them. The district is unaware of any harmful plants near the field, but to be safe, it has contacted law enforcement to find a plant expert to determine whether the plant is dangerous or not. But in the interest of time and safety if you attended today's game with young children, please be cautious if they do not feel well and take the necessary precautions. The plant in question is just outside the football field gate. When the plant species is confirmed and identified, the district will put out further information. We very much appreciate the concern of the patron who reported this incident, and the plant will be removed if it is dangerous. Thank you.
